Huercalida helps the little ones keep cool

WITH current record-breaking temperatures Huercal-Overa’s summer events programme Huercalida could not have a better name.
At least the children could cool down with a foam party during the multi-adventure fiesta in Parque del Calvario.
“The children loved it and told us afterwards that they had a marvellous time, which was what we were hoping for,” said Huercal’s mayor Domingo Fernandez.
The programme continued with a film show earlier this week and Thursday July 16 sees the Big Dancers street spectacle.
Huercalida has not overlooked adults with the Noche de Coplas with Sara de la Cruz and Juanma Jerez on July 23 and a concert from the Almeraya Symphony Orchestra that closes the programme on July 30.
