The work, which has a €570,000 budget and is due to take up to six months to complete, includes raising platforms to provide easier access to trains for people with mobility difficulties, replacing stairs and ramps and installing a new lift.
While the station is closed, Cercanias C1 line passengers will have to use either Torreblanca or Fuengirola stations.

Any update as to when the works will be finished?
After two phone calls and two e-mails we were advised by a friendly lady at Renfe that the work at the Los Boliches Station is progressing well and the construction company undertaken the work has indicated to them that it could be finished before the end of March. She has promised that as soon as she has the exact date of opening, she will let us know so that we can communicate that information to our readers.
