TEACHER Laura Luelmo was killed within eight hours of her disappearance, forensic experts have revealed.
Bernardo Montoya Navarro reportedly confessed to murdering the 26 year-old, whose body was found dead, half-naked and with evident signs of violence in a field in EL Campillo, Huelva.
A preliminary autopsy gave a margin of two to three days after the young woman was found by a search volunteer on December 17, having disappeared on December 12.
But the latest reports following tests carried out on tissues obtained from the body, which Laura’s family were able to cremate before Christmas, reveal that ‘the tissues affected by the injuries have hardly evolved, that is, there was hardly any attempt of his organism to repair the serious hemorrhagic wounds she suffered’.
According to El Pais, the forensic experts concluded that ‘everything indicates that the aggression was very close in time to death’ adding that Laura, from Zamora, was ‘attacked, beaten and, without much evolution of the wounds, death takes place’.
