The Councillor for Commerce of the Town Hall of Vélez-Málaga, Lola Gámez, has met with the retailers of the Retail Market of the city. During the meeting, the municipal technicians presented the Remodelling Project that will be carried out to solve all the deficiencies that the commercial space presents.
Lola Gámez has emphasised that these improvements so demanded by the merchants have to be undertaken “and that they are a consequence of the construction job carried out by the Partido Popular when it held the mayor’s office and were of poor quality and in which the investment made was more than insufficient “.
Gámez explained that “the project will have an approximate investment of 544,000 euros” and contemplates the installation of a new roof that will correct the flooding problems and improve the current pipelines. “In addition, improvements will also be made to the air conditioning system and they will relocate the cooling systems of each one of the stands. The councillor has indicated that the duration of the improvement jobs will be approximately of eight months.
