Singer, entertainer and couturier to the stars, Brian Piccolo is hosting an afternoon of style and support on Thursday, May 28, at Bobby Jones and Spikes restaurant in Miraflores Golf Club, Mijas. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Alzheimer and Dementia Support Group Costa del Sol, a local charity that offers peer help to families and carers facing Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Couturier shares career stories in an exclusive talk

Brian Piccolo presents his talk titled “My Life as a Couturier”. Attendees hear personal accounts from his decades designing elegant clothes for celebrities and stars. Self-taught from an early age, Piccolo built a reputation for meticulous tailoring and luxurious detail that has earned him clients across the globe.

A raffle offers a chance to win a custom garment

Participants can buy raffle tickets for €10 each. Winners will receive a bespoke garment created especially by Piccolo, with freedom to select fabric and style from his range. (Wedding dresses remain excluded from this prize.) Every penny raised supports the dementia charity directly.

Guest actor joins fashion show and afternoon tea

Doors open at 2.30pm for a 3pm start. Guests will be able to enjoy afternoon tea with canapés, sandwiches and homemade scones while models will be presenting Piccolo’s latest creations on the catwalk. Actor Mason Antonio Fardowe, known for his role in Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen, is due to make a special guest appearance to add extra entertainment.

Tickets available now for a worthwhile cause

Event tickets cost €30 and must be purchased in advance. Contact Jean and Brian on 664 898 767 to reserve places and pay in advance. Spaces will fill quickly for this popular combination of fashion, conversation and community spirit.

Carers and friends will be gathering for an afternoon that mixes glamour for a genuinely good cause. Support from the local expatriate community helps the Alzheimer and Dementia Support Group Costa del Sol continue monthly meetings, walking groups and emotional assistance for those caring for loved ones with dementia.
