The interior design ties in Garrucha’s quaint Mediterranean aesthetic with walls painted in soft yellows and light blues, and tastefully cluttered with framed artwork. Even the choice of crockery meals are served on feels like an intentional addition to the ambience.

Eating outside is just as pleasant. Tables are set out on a shaded patio overlooking a small, well-landscaped garden and pool, creating an intimate setting.

Restaurante Azul’s Menu del Día offers exceptional quality

From Tuesday to Friday, Restaurante Azul offer a Menu del Día. Enjoy a starter, main and dessert for €18, or pick from the elevated Tikar Menu for €29.50 per person. Some of the pricier set menus’ in the area, but unmatched in terms of quality.

Dishes on both menus take inspiration from the owners’ international travels, time living in northern Spain and new home on the southern coast.

More than a comfortable room and a good meal, guests will also find a personalised wine cellar on the premises, boasting a collection of bottles from all over the wold. Staff are eager to recommend the wine that will best pair with your meal, all you have to do is ask.

While a liquid lunch is not recommended – the food is too good to skip – Hotel Tikar do regularly host wine tastings and tours.
