Craft beer, live music, and a spot of shopping is coming, as the popular Birra & Arte Festival returns to the Espacio Polivalente Nueva Andalucia for four days of non-stop entertainment. Taking place from Thursday, July 2 to Sunday, July 5, the free-entry event brings together an array of international drinks, live concerts, an artisan market, and family activities.

Where do I head to and when?

The festival will be held at the Nueva Andalucia Centre, located on Avenida Miguel de Cervantes at the junction with Calle Quevedo.

As the evening starts to cool, doors open at 7pm, running until the early hours of 1am on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, with an extended license until 2am on Saturday night for anyone who wants that extra hour of fun.

Four full nights of impressive live music

The main stage will bring you a packed lineup of local favourites and tribute acts, split into early evening and late-night sets.

Thursday, July 2 – Soul-pop specialist Mami Curl opens the festival at 7:30pm, followed by popular rock band The Killer Rockets at 10pm
Friday, July 3 – Talented singer Eliza hits the stage at 7:30pm, before AC/DC tribute band Dinamita cranks up the volume at 10pm
Saturday, July 4 – Pop-rock artist Chloe performs at 7:30pm, leading into a massive retro throwback with the 80ers and their 80’s party at 10pm.
Sunday, July 5 – one for the younger ones as families can head down early for the Gran Fiesta Infantil (Children’s Party) at 7:30pm, before pop-rockers New Tricks close out the festival in style at 10pm.

Craft beer, good food and a good cause

Of course no beer festival would be what it is without an array of beers. Visitors will get to sample over 50 different varieties of craft and international beers to be enjoyed with a selection of street food stalls. Once you are full with food and drink you can browse the artisan market. The event will feature a barra solidaria (charity bar), with proceeds directly supporting local community initiatives.

Entry to the festival is entirely free all weekend.
