Art lovers looking for something different this summer will have the chance to experience an evening where exhibitions, live performance and music come together under one roof as Galería Baró hosts its special Art Feast in Palma on Thursday, July 23.

Taking place from 6pm at the gallery on Carrer de Can Sanç in Palma’s Old Town, the event celebrates Baró’s fifth anniversary on the island, inviting visitors to enjoy contemporary art in a relaxed, social atmosphere rather than a traditional gallery setting.

Organisers describe the evening as a celebration of creativity, bringing together installations, live artistic performances and a DJ set designed to encourage guests to explore the gallery in a completely different way.

Contemporary art with a festival atmosphere

Rather than simply opening its exhibition spaces, Galería Baró is transforming the venue into an immersive cultural experience where visual art, sound and performance blend throughout the evening.

The gallery has become one of Mallorca’s leading contemporary art spaces since opening in 2021, building a reputation for showcasing internationally recognised artists while strengthening cultural ties between Europe and Latin America.

Visitors attending Art Feast will also have the opportunity to explore the gallery’s current exhibitions, which include works by acclaimed artists Daniel Arsham, Estevan Davi and Erwin Olaf, all featured as part of the wider Art Palma Summer programme.

A different side of Mallorca’s cultural scene

While Mallorca is best known for its beaches and nightlife, the island’s cultural calendar continues to grow, particularly in Palma, where galleries, museums and creative spaces are attracting both residents and visitors seeking unique experiences beyond the coastline.

Art Feast aims to capture that spirit by offering an accessible evening where contemporary art can be enjoyed in a lively, welcoming environment.

Whether you’re an experienced collector, an art enthusiast or simply curious to discover one of Palma’s most respected galleries, the event promises an opportunity to experience the city’s thriving creative scene while celebrating five years of Galería Baró’s presence in Mallorca.

With live music, installations and exhibitions all taking place in one venue, Art Feast is shaping up to be one of the standout cultural evenings on Palma’s summer calendar.
