Sven Väth returns to Fuengirola as Satisfaxion celebrates 33 years with Costa del Sol dance event

Techno icon joins Bonobo for one-night electronic music celebration at Marenostrum Fuengirola

Electronic music fans have another date to circle in the calendar after organisers confirmed that German techno legend Sven Väth will headline this summer’s Satisfaxion 30+3 celebration at Marenostrum Fuengirola. Last year’s event turned out to be hugely popular, and organisers at Marenotrum are expecting a massive turnout for this one too.

Taking place on Saturday, August 8, the event brings one of dance music’s most influential figures back to the Costa del Sol, where he will appear with British producer and DJ Bonobo on the Unicaja Stage at Castillo Sohail.

Doors open at 6pm, with tickets starting from €44, including booking fees.

Sven Väth remains one of techno’s biggest names

Few DJs have shaped electronic music quite like Sven Väth. Born in Oberhausen, Germany, in 1964, the veteran performer has spent more than four decades helping define European club culture. His career stretches from the birth of Frankfurt’s underground techno movement during the 1980s through to today’s global festival circuit.

Beyond DJing, Väth has earned worldwide respect as a producer, record label founder and club promoter, helping launch careers and influencing generations of electronic artists.

His marathon DJ sets and carefully selected vinyl performances have become part of dance music folklore, attracting loyal followers across Europe and further afield.

Satisfaxion promises more artist announcements

Organisers say more names will be added to the bill over the coming days as Satisfaxion celebrates its 33rd anniversary with one of its biggest Costa del Sol events to date.

Interest is expected from fans across Spain, with Marenostrum Fuengirola continuing to attract internationally recognised artists each summer against the backdrop of Castillo Sohail.

From rock and pop concerts to dance music festivals, the open-air venue has built a reputation as one of Andalucia’s leading live music destinations.

Tickets are available through official sales platforms, while customer enquiries can be made via the event organisers.

With Sven Väth and Bonobo already confirmed, organisers are expected to reveal additional artists before August, giving electronic music fans even more reason to head to Fuengirola for what promises to be one of the Costa del Sol’s biggest dance events of the summer.
