Fuengirola’s much-loved Bing Asian Fusion has a new name, a new kitchen team and a new menu, but diners will still recognise many of the friendly faces who have welcomed them through the doors.

Bing Asian Fusion becomes Yami in Fuengirola

Now called Yami Thai Chinese Sushi Fusión Restaurant, the seafront venue at Paseo Marítimo Rey de España 40 is entering its next chapter while keeping the familiar front-of-house team that regular customers know and trust.

Behind the scenes, however, things have changed. A completely new team of cooks has taken over the kitchen, bringing a new approach and an exciting menu covering Thai, Chinese and sushi dishes.

A new menu with plenty to choose from

Yami’s menu of the day is tempting for lunchtime diners, with three courses available from Monday to Friday between 1pm and 4pm for €14.90. Starters include Thai spring rolls, Thai chicken satay, hot and sour soup and crispy chicken salad. Main courses offer Thai chicken with red curry sauce, beef with black pepper sauce, sweet and sour chicken, or crispy Babi Pangang pork with sweet chilli sauce.

Dessert is included, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream followed by coffee or tea. White rice comes with the meal, while noodles are available for an extra €1.

Thai, Chinese and sushi by the sea

Yami continues the restaurant’s authentic Asian identity, with Thai, Chinese and sushi among its main culinary themes. Its seafront setting makes it an option for residents and visitors looking for wonderful Asian food in Fuengirola.

The restaurant’s website lists takeaway and delivery options, while reservations are available for diners who want to eat at the restaurant. For anyone who has fond memories of Bing, the change should feel more like a new chapter than a completely different restaurant. The familiar welcome is still there, but the kitchen now has a new team and a menu waiting to be explored again.
