Fear will sweep across Plaza Mayor this autumn as a joyful wedding celebration turns into a fight for life as halloween comes early.
Adrenaline junkies in for a treat
If you enjoy the feeling of terror from a horror movie, then this evening will be right up your street. Thousands of adrenaline seekers are going to test their nerve at the Survival Zombie Edition 615, titled ‘La Noche de los Muertos Vivientes’ at the commercial area in Malaga. Inspired by classic retro horror aesthetics, this immersive live-action role-playing experience plunges brave participants directly into a simulated undead outbreak. Organisers World Real Games promise six intense hours filled with strategic choices, mental puzzles, and heart-pounding physical action across the entire outdoor site.
Retro wedding chaos turns apocalyptic
Horror fiction comes alive on Saturday, September 26, with main gameplay running continuously from 11pm until 5am the following morning. Game designers framed this edition around a late 1960s wedding party hosted within the complex. Feasting, music, and dancing dissolve rapidly as hostiles surround the area. Players face an immediate dilemma: search for scarce materials to construct an anti-zombie shelter with other survivors, or grab whatever supplies they can steal and dash toward the car park.
Surviving the night demands mental sharpness, teamwork, and stamina as players navigate dark alleyways, gardens, and shopping arcades. Over forty professional actors equipped with realistic special effects and terrifying makeup stalk every corner. Getting caught by an actor does not end the night. Fallen players can undergo a complete transformation via on-site makeup teams to join the zombie horde or hunt for rare vaccines to re-enter as human survivors.
Age rules, participant guidelines and tickets
Access is open to players of all ages, though organisers recommend a minimum age of six given the intensity of the atmospheric horror. Participants under twelve years old must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the night and present signed parental consent. Young adults aged twelve to seventeen require written permission with a photocopy of their guardian’s identity document. Official wristbands and coloured identification garments distinguish human players, zombies, and event staff throughout the zone.
Desks inside Plaza Mayor open early at 6pm, allowing players to complete registration collect identification gear, and enjoy dinner before the 11pm start time. Early arrival is strongly encouraged to prevent delays and long queues. Ticket prices start at €19.90, with entries available online via the official Survival Zombie website. Wearing sturdy, closed-toe athletic footwear and comfortable clothes are essential for moving safely through dark spaces.
