Bargain hunters can update their wardrobes while supporting an important cause when the Samaritans in Spain Charity Shop launches its end-of-summer sale at Punta Marina Commercial Centre today, Thursday, October 1.

All remaining summer items will be reduced to just €1, while the shop has also brought in new winter stock ready for the change of season.

Summer clothing reduced to just €1

The end-of-summer sale begins on October 1, giving shoppers the chance to pick up remaining seasonal items for €1 each.

Alongside the discounted summer clothing, the charity shop has received a selection of winter stock as temperatures begin to change.

Coats, jumpers, boots and shoes are among the new-season items available, giving customers an opportunity to prepare their wardrobes for the cooler months while supporting the charity.

The shop relies on sales of donated goods to help generate income for the organisation’s work in Spain.

Purchases support confidential emotional support

Every purchase made at the Punta Marina shop helps Samaritans in Spain continue providing confidential emotional support to English-speaking people across the country.

The organisation helps people who may be experiencing distress, loneliness or other difficulties, offering them the opportunity to talk about whatever they are facing.

Its support is provided by trained volunteers in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.

Income generated through the charity shop contributes towards maintaining the organisation’s support service, meaning customers can help simply by purchasing clothes and other donated items.

Charity shop opens five days a week

The Samaritans in Spain Charity Shop is located at Punta Marina Commercial Centre.

It is normally open from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, giving local residents several opportunities during the week to browse its donated stock.

With summer items reduced to €1 from today and winter clothing now arriving, the October sale combines low-cost shopping with fundraising for the organisation’s ongoing work.

Anyone who needs emotional support or would like further information about Samaritans in Spain can contact the organisation through its freephone helpline on (+34) 900 525 100.
