Families and fans of all things spooky can enjoy haunted attractions, children’s activities, live music and late-night celebrations across Rincon de la Victoria on Saturday, October 31.

The are of Rincon on the eastern Costa del Sol has organised events in Rincon de la Victoria itself, Benagalbon and La Cala del Moral, with activities ranging from afternoon workshops to spooky attractions and music continuing into the early hours.

Haunted attractions and music in Rincon

Celebrations in Rincon de la Victoria will centre on Plaza de la Constitucion, where activities get underway at 6pm with bouncy castles and up to six Halloween-themed workshops.

The main attraction is El Sanatorio de las Almas Perdidas (The Sanatorium of Lost Souls), a haunted experience open from 8pm until midnight. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

DJ Plazita will provide music from 9pm until midnight, while visitors can also enjoy traditional Spanish buñuelos, sweet fritters sold at a themed stall.

Benagalbon plans Halloween for all ages

In Benagalbon, activities begin at 5pm at the Centro de Folclore with Una Noche de Halloween, a theatrical storytelling session performed by Seño de los Cuentos.

Children can also explore a haunted passage, take part in Halloween workshops and enjoy a free-play area. Places for the storytelling session are limited, with passes available at the centre from 5pm.

From 8pm until 3am, Plaza de la Iglesia will host a Halloween procession, face painting and live music. The programme includes Abelito y Terrones, Radio 80 and DJ Rubén Llamas.

La Cala del Moral opens a haunted passage

Visitors looking for another spooky experience can head to Calle Juan Montoya in La Cala del Moral. The Association Cultural Estrella del Alba is organising a haunted passage at its premises, open from 9pm until midnight.

With activities spread across three locations, residents can choose between family-friendly afternoon entertainment, haunted attractions and evening music without having to stay in one place throughout the celebrations.

Anyone planning to attend should check the local organisers‘ latest announcements for any changes to the programme.
