AFGHAN HEROES were presented with a cheque for €463.65 by the organisers of the Jubilee Fair held at the For You Pub and Restaurant in Javea.
A bouncy castle and crazy golf kept the children busy while the adults shopped at the more than 40 stalls.
Entertainment was provided by Adam King backed by Strkland and Stewart Collier demonstrated what one man can do with a guitar and rocked the place.
“I am overwhelmed by the effort the organisers have put in to make this event a great success,” said Marion Bertham the Afghan Heroes coordinator.
“Especially so as this is my last event as I have to retire because of ill health, they could not have given me a better send off. Our thanks go out to all the people that supported us and to bar For You for letting us stage the event there.”
The event was organised by Mark and Debbie from LimeLight Events, Maxine from Glamro X, Ann from My Little Cake Shop and Lee from Hire a Hubby.
