MADRID has seen a huge demonstration by thousands of protesters against the privatization of the public health service and budget cuts by the Madrid Community Government.
The Association of Faculties and Specialists of Madrid (AFEM) called for the demonstration to take place. The relatively peaceful protest began at the Neptuno Square and finished at the Puerta del Sol area of the city.
