It is believed that Real Madrid have risen their bid to a world record €90 million to land Gareth Bale for next season and the Spurs player has made his feelings supposedly clear that he wants to be in Madrid.
After their first bid was rejected, Madrid have not given up. The current record stands at €85 million with Real Madrid having brought Cristiano Ronaldo but now it looks like they have found their new prodigy. .
Spurs are looking to give Bale a €197,000-a-week contract and have claimed that they will not sell him. However, they may be offering him this offer but fears seem to be sinking in that Real Madrid are turning his head.
After allegedly being questioned three times after their game against South China over Bale’s future, Andre Villas-Boas supposedly said “I don’t want to comment on anything like that.”
Villas-Boas will now have to fly back for urgent talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy about Bale’s future.
