VANDALS are being targetted in a new campaign.
Carboneras Town Hall in conjunction with the Local Police has started the campaign aimed at controlling and punishing acts of vandalism that in the town.
Street furniture, lampposts, benches, trees, city signage, facades or walls have all been affected by grafitti and vandalsim. On top of that companies have been using them as illegal billboards.
The town hall wants to eradicate actions from minors that individually or in groups have been writing graffiti and causing vandalism which affects the municipal coffers. The Local Police in Carboneras have been instructed to ensure compliance with the law, acting and denouncing those responsible for such offences, which will then be submitted to the mayor for processing leading to possible fines.
