Marta on the podium

MARTA RIVAS competed for the Madrid championship class M17 against some of the best foil fencers in Spain.

Marta passed the preliminary heats and the quarter finals with ease. In the semifinals she defeated the former number one but lost in the finals by 12-15.

It was a great result for the young fencer from the San Pedro fencing club (Club de Esgrima San Pedro) and consolidates her place in the international team, due to go to an international tournament in Marseille. More information: http://www.esgrimasanpedro.com/
