Pets welcome in La Cala, Costa del Sol

LA CALA (Costa del Sol) will be the scene of the fifth edition of Mijas’ Pets Day this Sunday, January 18.

From 11am onwards at La Butibamba park, the event is aimed at local pet-lovers, many of whom are expats.

People are invited to take their pets of all types and sizes along.

Animal groups, charities and pet-product businesses will be present, with charities taking along some pets looking for homes to meet possible prospective owners.

Councillor for commerce Manuel Navarro explained that one of the main aims of the Pet Days is to help animals in need find new families.
