STAR FOOTBALLER: Sergio Ramos visited Marbella with his father and met Mayor Angeles Muñoz at the event.
REAL MADRID footballer Sergio Ramos has been in Marbella for a ceremony to officially hand over new sports facilities to the council.
Ramos is a shareholder in the company that has built the new Francisco Norte underground car park, and building sports facilities for public use on top was part of the agreement made with the council.
A fan of Marbella summers, the footballer jumped at the chance to invest in Marbella, where he said he has always been received with open arms.
Ramos was accompanied at the event by his father and by local mayor Angeles Muñoz, who expressed her satisfaction that the project, which had been shelved for many years, had finally become a reality.
