THE municipal music school of Salobreña is currently undergoing a comprehensive series of renovations aiming to modernise and improve the facilities.“This work has been repeatedly requested as the building had sustained serious damage, which was not appropriate for carrying out classes attended by hundreds of students,” said mayor of the town, Gonzalo Fernandez Pulido.In addition, the new school will be named after its former director, who recently passed away, Jose Pareja Serrano, an initiative approved by all political groups at the council.
