New Gandia hospital welcomes 13 medical residents

GANDIA’S new hospital Francesc de Borja held a reception on Thursday May 21 for 13 internal medical residents (MIRs) who have joined the staff to complete their training. Specifically, seven will specialise Family and Community Medicine; two in Pediatrics; one in Internal Medicine; one in General Surgery; one in Traumatology and Orthopedics, and one in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Deputy Medical Director Dr Pedro Martinez and President of the Teaching Commission Dr Enrique Garrigós made speeches welcoming the newcomers before taking them on a conducted tour of the new hospital’s impressive facilities.
