GOING back to the American Old West is easy in Almeria. More than 54,500 people have visited the Oasys Theme Park since the beginning of summer, in Tabernas (Almeria), which includes within its facilities the legendary western town Mini Hollywood. The set served as the location for dozens of films, mainly Spaghetti Westerns made in the 60s and 70s.

The park, out in the Tabernas desert, is also home to an animal reservoir, which has received close to 20,000 visits just in July, while in August, the number of tourists who have enjoyed the facilities amounted to 28,325.

Amongst the many attractions offered by this park, where actors including Clint Eastwood, Brigitte Bardot, Anthony Quinn and Claudia Cardinale have all spent time, is the Cinema Museum, which features posters and other items from the many movies recorded in the area.
