FAR-RIGHT group, Hogar Social Madrid, has attacked a mosque in Madrid following the atrocities in Brussels yesterday March 22.
Flares were set off outside the mosque just off the central A30 motorway in Madrid and an announcement on Twitter read that it was an ‘act against radical Islamism’. Banners outside the mosque read, “Today Brussels, tomorrow Madrid”.
A statement was made by Madrid’s city hall instructing citizens to respond to terror with ‘solidarity, not fear of the other’.
In 2014, Spanish officials arrested a network of extremists who had been using the mosque cafeteria to recruit jihadists for Daesh, before police dismantled the operation.
