Allegedly, the murderer beat and stabbed his 21-year-old sister to death and injured her boyfriend and mother for unknown reason at a house in the mountainous town of Guadarrama.
The victim suffered several knife wounds across her chest and neck, and later died following two heart attacks on the way to Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda.
Her 26-year-old boyfriend was transferred to hospital in critical condition after sustaining wounds to the face, stomach, arms and hands. Sources indicate that he has undergone facial reconstruction surgery following the attack.
The mother of the siblings, aged 48, has been transferred to the same hospital with various knife lacerations and head injuries.
The assailant has been transferred to a psychiatric ward while the Guardia Civil investigate the reason behind the attack.
