Citizen collaboration leads to three arrests in one night

STATISTICS revealed by the Local Police of the Night Operating Group (GON) show that three arrests were made during the first half of the month of July thanks to the help of citizen information.
Three individuals were detained on various charges and all have several warrants for arrests placed upon them.
The first was made after a suspected armed robber was recognised in a bar in the town of Rincon de la Victoria by an off duty officer and his friend. After an 092 call several officers were soon on the scene and made the arrest.
The second was a similar scenario after a criminal with existing warrants was recognised and detained.
The third was made by a report by a citizen for individuals acting as illegal “valet parkers”. A patrol was sent to the place in question and after no documentation was offered, arrests were made.
The Guardia Civil has praised the cooperation of the public in helping make these three important arrests.
