The Frog And Toad Charity Day a huge success

The Frog and Toad in Alhaurin del Grande played host to a surprise charity night last Saturday in aid of a ‘beautiful’ lady currently receiving treatment after a serious operation.

The event was organised by local business owner Dione Lockyer who brought together live musical performances and a Full Monty style show to raise funds to assist with the lady’s care.

Landlord of the Frog and Toad expressed his gratitude towards everyone who helped make the event a success.

“We would like to thank everyone who came along yesterday to help us raise money for a truly wonderful lady Sue. A special thank you to all the singers who entertained us all so well, Dione Lockyer with out her it wouldn’t of been so successful, and our full Monty lads Hayley.”

“I would also like to thank all 55 business and individuals who donated raffle prizes and the Euro weekly for promoting and attending the event.”

Altogether the event raised €1,877 and donations are still coming in.
