TWO people have been seriously injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles in Mallorca, Spain. As reported by the emergency services, the road accident took place at KM9 on the Ma-11, the highway that connects Soller to Palma de Mallorca on Thursday evening (December 26). As the incident was called in, several ambulances, the fire brigade and patrols from the Guardia Civil raced to the scene, finding a 60-year-old driver unconscious and trapped inside their vehicle. Another 53-year old woman was also seriously injured, with both victims being taken to Son Espases Hospital. As Euro Weekly News understands, an investigation has now been launched to determine the exact circumstances of the crash which closed the highway for several hours.
