Africa's richest woman faces charges of fraud and embezzlement
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman plummeted to her death from the 7th floor of a block of flats in Hove, England.
Sussex Police report that the deceased woman, who is believed to be in her early 30s, fell from the great height at Clarendon House on Clarendon Road in the early hours of this morning (January 18).
Officers had been called to the incident shortly after 5.50am, sadly finding the woman dead upon arrival.
A 52-year-old man has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of a probe by the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team.
As Euro Weekly News understands, the fatal incident has also been passed onto the Independent Police Complaints Commission who had recently been contacted by the police about the two people involved. It is understood that both individuals were known to each other.
A Sussex Police spokesperson has released a short statement to confirm the arrest, stating:
“At 5.53am on January 18 police were called to after a woman believed to be in her early thirties was reported to have fallen to the ground from the 7th floor of the flats.
“She was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. The death is being investigated by detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team and a 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.”
