FUENGIROLA will launch a creative writing workshop at the end of January, for 12-year-old schoolchildren, involving all of the 13 schools in the town. In the course, the participants will learn poetry, narrative and linguistic resources techniques in an aim to encourage reading and writing among the young.
Mayor of Culture, Rodrigo Romero stated: “Promoting the passion for creativity, favouring the love of reading and books is a job that should not only be done from libraries or schools, it must be a joint work and that is why this activity has been devised.”
