SPAIN’S roads have been hit once again with fatalities as three people have sadly died in a horror collision between two heavy-duty trucks.
The incident took place shortly after 8.30am this morning (January 21) on the N-2 road in Osera de Ebro, Zaragoza.
As reported by the Guardia Civil, two trucks collided head on, where it is understood that both drivers and a passenger died instantaneously as a result of the severe impact. Officers state that the accident had nothing to do with Storm Gloria, as adverse weather conditions has not affected the road.
As Euro Weekly News understands, an investigation will now be launched by the police to clarify the circumstances behind the incident. Local sources indicate that firefighters are still on the scene removing the heavily damaged vehicles from the road.
