STORM CIARA has led to flooding, travel disruption and power cuts throughout the British Isles.
The storm has caused havoc across the nation with wind speeds in excess of 90mph, weather warnings for snow and ice, while heavy rain has led to flooding and damage to property.
Storm Ciara has caused damage to power lines. More than 20,000 homes have faced the freezing weather without electricity.
In total, more than 250 flood warnings were issued around the UK as hundreds of flights were cancelled and rail operators warned of disruptions
Sporting events across the country such as football, rugby union and horse racing fixtures have also been affected.
