Partido Popular councillors in Teulada-Moraira set an example by donating half their pay to Caritas

PARTIDO POPULAR councillors in Teulada-Moraira donated 50 per cent of their town hall salaries during the Covid-19 crisis.
“The Teulada-Moraira PP chose to donate to Caritas, as it helps many of the people in our municipality who are having a hard time  and it is active both in Teulada and Moraira,” a party communique announced.
“We made this donation of more than €2,000 because politicians should also play their part financially.  Deeds are more important than words and those in public office should be the first set an example,” the party statement continued.
