THE National Police in Costa del Sol engaged in a movie-style bust when they burst into a luxury villa in Marbella to catch the criminals who allegedly shot another British gangster last May.
According to police sources, the three detainees were responsible for a ‘settling of accounts’ within their own criminal organisation which resulted in a 27-year-old Brit being shot in both legs.
One of the detainees even pretended to find the Brit hurt on the street and took him to the hospital in an attempt to deviate the attention from themselves.
Out of those arrested, two were British, one was 23 and the other 24, and the other was a 29-year-old Irish man. The latter was the one in charge of pretending to help investigators find the culprit when in reality they were in on the hit.
He even went to visit the Brit who was shot various times in the hospital. Police found a silencer, a semi-automatic pistol (the weapon used to shoot the Brit) and various boxes of ammunition.
