Portal de la Marina shopping centre will once again be transformed into a post-apocalyptic setting on Saturday February 28, hosting the second edition of Survival Zombie, an immersive escape room experience that challenges participants to survive a night filled with zombies, riddles and adrenaline.
Owned by HLRE and managed by Grupo Lar, the centre will become the stage for a six-hour live-action game running from midnight until 6.00am.
Six hours of adrenaline and survival
During the night, players will move through different areas of the shopping centre, interact with professional actors and overcome physical and mental challenges to avoid being caught by the zombies.
Each edition of Survival Zombie features a unique storyline, with missions that must be completed while participants experience a realistic zombie apocalypse environment that combines teamwork, strategy and endurance.
An experience for all ages
The activity is open to all ages, although a minimum recommended age of six applies. Children under 12 must take part accompanied by an adult, while participants aged 13 and over may play independently with parental consent, which will be requested at the end of the ticket purchase process.
Members of Portal de la Marina’s Club de los Disfrutones can benefit from a reduced ticket price of €29.90, instead of the standard €39.90, with registration available via the News section of the Portal de la Marina app.
A successful event returns stronger
Following the success of its first edition, organisers are expecting even greater participation this year, with more intense challenges and team-based tests designed to push players’ reflexes, ingenuity and stamina to the limit.
Virginia Carrasco, centre manager, said: “We want Portal de la Marina to continue being a leisure reference point in the Marina Alta, and there is no better way than offering an immersive and exciting experience like Survival Zombie.”
