Raise money while enjoying music on the Cava and Cruise Credit: Sailingtealie
An Age Care charity event is setting sail to music, cava and stunning views from Sotogrande Marina on Sunday, May 3. Sea loving guests joining the Cava cruise live music trip will spend two hours at sea while singer Gary Baxendale serenades you with familiar favourites on guitar. With confident musicians even being invited to play a tune or two during the voyage.
What guests will get to enjoy for €99
Priced at €99 per person, the cruise includes chilled cava, fresh fruit, snacks and refreshments on board. Ten per cent of every booking will be donated to the incredible work of the Age Care Association, adding extra purpose to the afternoon. Singles and couples are both being encouraged to join, especially those who enjoy sing-alongs, meeting new people and time on the water with friends.
Age Care Association is a wonderful charity, solely staffed by teams of dedicated volunteers who do fantastic work across the coast so the money raised will be gratefully received to go towards the cause.
The couple behind the Sailing tealie company offer various sailing excursions throughout the year to many interesting destinations. They also have a thoroughly interesting back story about how they came to Sotogrande with their sailboat ‘Tealie’.
The plan for the day and booking
Departure is scheduled for 1pm, with return at 3pm, making it a nice easy weekend plan. Sotogrande Marina is a beautiful well-known boating location so demand could rise quickly as the sailing season nears. Booking is available by emailing info@sailingtealie.com or calling +34 633 272 060 for the remaining seats.
Music lovers with sea legs searching for things to do in Sotogrande this May will find this cruise especially appealing. Sea air, acoustic favourites and a small guest list with an intimate atmosphere that larger excursions rarely match, all while raising money for a fantastic charity.
