Animal lovers have a great opportunity to help out at the upcoming Triple A annual charity dog walk on Sunday, May 10, from 10am to 2pm. The walk leaves from Plaza del Mar on the Paseo Maritimo. Participants can bring their own dog for a stroll or reserve one of the many shelter dogs to take for the walk. Entry costs €12 and includes coffee, tea, cake, and a goodie bag. Funds raised will go directly towards food, medical care, and shelter improvements.

The incredible work the volunteers do

Triple A Marbella and San Pedro care for more than 500 abandoned and mistreated animals each year. Volunteers kindly dedicate their time and attention to rescuing dogs and cats, providing shelter, veterinary care, and daily love. Many of these animals sadly arrive in poor condition and require patience before they can be rehomed. Every adoption gives an animal a second chance while creating space for another rescue in need. The charity work depends heavily on community involvement, making public support essential to its mission, which is why the annual walk can make such a difference.

How else can you get involved?

Adopting instead of buying pets is one of the most effective ways to help. Volunteering time at the shelter with tasks like feeding, cleaning, and exercising animals. Donations play a crucial role to help cover veterinary bills and supplies. Fostering animals offers temporary care and eases pressure on shelter space. Another way to contribute is via their Amazon Wishlist. Triple A updates the list whenever they are in need of certain items such as toys, litter etc and the items purchased go straight to the shelter.

Walk together for the cause

Every step taken helps give rescue animals the care and future they deserve. So please join the walk to raise some vital money for the centre.
