New educational adventures
As the school term draws to a close, BIOPARC Fuengirola has finalised preparations for its seasonal youth programmes. The park recently announced that registration is now open for its June summer camps. Aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12, these sessions provide an alternative to standard holiday childcare by focusing on nature, wildlife, and outdoor discovery.
A global journey in Fuengirola
The theme for this year’s programme is “Holidays Around the World.” The initiative seeks to transport young participants to various continents, helping them understand the complexities of the planet’s most fascinating ecosystems. A primary focus of the curriculum is teaching children how animal species manage to survive and thrive during the hot summer months, particularly in challenging environments such as dense tropical rainforests.
Rather than relying on static learning, the park uses a variety of dynamic activities and interactive games. These methods are designed to keep children engaged while they gain knowledge about:
-
Global biodiversity and varied animal habitats.
-
Practical environmental conservation efforts.
-
The importance of protecting the natural world.
Special June kick-off event
In addition to the broader schedule, the park has organised a specific two-day event titled “Start Your Summer at BIOPARC.” Taking place on June 29 and 30, this particular programme is designed to kick off the holiday season with high energy, prioritising exploration and fun in a natural setting.
Why choose BIOPARC camps?
BIOPARC’s annual camps are recognised for going beyond simple leisure. By fostering close contact with fauna and encouraging practical, participatory learning, the experience aims to awaken curiosity about the planet’s diverse ecosystems.
Families living on the coast who want their children to enjoy a summer of adventure and learning can now complete the registration process. With the summer heat approaching, these camps offer a productive and exciting way for local youngsters to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom. Spaces are limited and families can now consult all information and register through the official BIOPARC website.
