The Jove Ballet de la Marina will return to the stage, this time in the charming coastal town of Denia, on May 31, 2026, with a new performance that forms part of its expanding seasonal programme across the Marina Alta. The youth dance company, based in Gata de Gorgos, continues to re-establish itself as one of the regionās most dynamic emerging cultural projects, blending classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance into dazzling stage productions.
Shining young talents take the stage on the Costa Blanca North
The company brings together around two dozen amateur dancers from across the Valencian Community, many of them trained in conservatories and local dance schools. Its artistic direction, led by Laura Perelló and Maeva Perelló, focuses on offering performers real stage experience by allowing them to participate in fully-fledged productions.
In 2026, the ensemble has already taken part in multiple performances across the region, including large-scale shows combining live music and choreography. One of its signature recent formats, āConcert en Moviment,ā has already received critical acclaim from audiences.
The upcoming May date is expected to follow this same artistic philosophy: a mixed programme of pieces designed to highlight versatility, technical training and emotional expression. The show will include a mosaic of contrasting choreographies, moving between classical ballet and contemporary movement.
A promising dance group with passion, hard work, and performance arts at the forefront
The Jove Ballet de la Marinaās growth has been supported by local cultural institutions and foundations that aim to strengthen youth arts in the region. Its performances have consistently attracted strong local audiences, reflecting both community interest and the increasing visibility of emerging dance talent in the Marina Alta region.
As the 2026 tour continues, the company is consolidating its identity as a bridge between training and professional dance, offering talented young performers a platform to develop while bringing high-quality live dance to eager local audiences.
The performance will also re-establish the coastal town of Denia as a cultural hotspot on the Costa Blanca North, with a wide variety of song, dance, and theatre performances to dazzle locals and visitors as peak season kicks off.
