Fuengirola’s Miramar adds fresh attractions as summer footfall rises. The major shopping centre in Fuengirola is entering the summer season with a renewed mix of leisure and retail spaces designed to draw families, shoppers and visitors. A new bowling alley, expanded arcade zone and two ground‑floor store openings are hoping to further increase activity during the busiest months of the year, giving residents more reasons to visit.

Sephora and La Cheesequeria open on the ground floor

Summer retail activity has stepped up with the opening of Sephora and La Cheesequeria, both located on the ground floor. Sephora’s new store offers its full range of perfumes, make-up, skincare and beauty treatments in its signature modern space where customers can test products with staff guidance. The brand now operates more than 2,000 shops in around 35 countries.

La Cheesequeria brings its growing cheesecake concept to Fuengirola, delivering flavours from traditional baked recipes to quirky goat’s cheese, pistachio, lemon pie, mango–passion fruit, salted caramel and eve more modern versions inspired by Nocilla, Kit Kat and Phoskitos. A selection of cookies, including Oreo, white chocolate and American-style varieties, completes the menu. To celebrate its launch, the shop handed out 500 slices to early customers.

New bowling alley and arcade boost family entertainment

The centre has also strengthened its leisure line-up with the arrival of a new Sould Park bowling alley on the outdoor terrace. Spread across more than 1,000 square metres, the venue features four professional bowling lanes, over 50 arcade machines, billiards, table football, vending points and a large LED screen for sports broadcasts.

Early visitors received 50 complimentary games as part of a welcome promotion designed to introduce the space to families and weekend visitors.

A year of expansion for Miramar

Recent months have seen further additions, including Casa del Libro with more than 12,000 titles, a refurbished Primark, and an expanded Primor store now located next to Guess. Management says the refreshed retail mix responds to customer demand for new trends and experiences.
