Dig your leg warmers and neon sunglasses out of the back of the wardrobe as Finca Solvana in Alhaurin de la Torre is hosting We Are Eighties, a full-throttle 80s and 90s themed party, on Saturday, July 4. A marathon afternoon into evening, kicking off early from 6pm right through to 2am. Under the stars in the open-air, a night of nostalgia, music and non-stop dancing for anyone keen to relive their favourite decades.
What will be happening at at We Are Eighties
If Pet Shop Boys, Kylie and Human League vibes tickle your fancy, then you will love this evening, soundtracked by DJs Javier Arquimbau and Paco Luque, who’ll be spinning the biggest hits of the era, as well as the DJ sets there will be a live performance from Back to the Rock Band.
Best fancy dress contest with a €500 prize
Miss dressing in the lurid colours and accessories? Well, for those who like to fully commit to a theme, there’s plenty of incentive to dig out the brightest, boldest 80s and 90s outfits in the wardrobe. A best costume contest will run throughout the evening, with a generous €500 cash prize up for grabs for the most impressive look on the night.
Food and drink on offer
Hungry partygoers who plan on being there for the full duration won’t be left wanting, as a gourmet burger food truck will be on-site serving up delicious hearty bites to keep the energy up between dances.
