A moving symphonic tribute to Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone arrives in Benalmadena on Saturday, July 4, an evening of breath-taking music shaped by two of the most influential composers in film history. Scheduled for 9:30pm at the Benalmadena Auditorium, the concert is performed by an incredible full live orchestra.
A journey through iconic cinema
Fans of cinema and their soundtracks can sit back and embrace a carefully curated selection of music that defined modern cinema. Zimmer’s unmistakable sounds will be represented through titles such as Gladiator, Inception and The Lion King, each known for their deeply emotional depth and sweeping orchestral writing.
Morricone’s legacy will be presented with themes from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Mission. Pieces such as Gabriel’s Oboe and the iconic whistling motif of his classic westerns continue to pull emotion across generations and remain instantly recognisable worldwide.
The music does the talking
Rather than relying on screens or visual effects, the evening focuses entirely on sound. Each piece is supported by lighting designed to enhance the emotional character of the score without distracting from it. This approach creates a concert experience that invites listeners to relive unforgettable scenes through music alone.
How can I attend the evening?
The concert takes place at the Benalmadena Auditorium Avenida de Rocio Jurado, s/n Arroyo de la Miel on Saturday, July 4 at 9:30pm.
Tickets start from €25 and are available at along with more information at the venues official website.
If you are in Benalmadena and Blue music is more your thing. The Auditorium is also hosting the Blue Festival on July 2 and 3 where you can enjoy the sounds of John Primer, Giles Robson and Ghalia Volt.
The venue is the perfect space for a warm summer evening of exceptional talent and music, whichever genre you fancy, you are covered.
