Classic car fans and design buffs can look forward to an exciting display of vintage vehicles on the Costa del Sol this week as Estepona Marina is set to host a spectacular classic car exhibition on Saturday 18 July. All put together by the Turbo Elite Club, the free public event will run from 7pm until 9pm, offering a perfect evening out for everyone.
Historic vehicles gathering in Andalucia
An impressive collection of historic automobiles will take centre stage during the two-hour event. Visitors can expect a privileged, up-close look at rare models representing various eras of automotive history. Collectors, car clubs, and passionate fans from across Andalucia are travelling to the coastal town to participate.
Families, holidaymakers, and local residents can explore the display completely free of charge. This weekend gathering promises to be an engaging experience for dedicated petrolheads and casual observers.
Inspiring summer activities in Estepona
Estepona Marina’s managing director, Manuel Raigon, explained that hosting the exhibition is a fantastic addition to the harbour’s summer schedule. “Welcoming initiatives like this revitalises our local environment and offers something unique for visitors during the peak summer season,” Raigon stated. The port management hopes to continue supporting community-focused events that bring energy and excitement to the local area.
Preserving automotive heritage
Turbo Elite Club representative, Rocio Herrada, explained that the main goal of the exhibition is to share their passion for vintage transport. The group works hard to protect and pass on a rich automotive culture to younger generations.
More than 50 active members currently make up the family-friendly club, which brings together enthusiasts of all ages. Regular rallies allow members to celebrate their vehicles, build friendships, and discover regional culture and gastronomy. Based in Malaga province, the group frequently takes part in specialised events like Retro Malaga to keep transport history alive.
