Burger lovers are in for a treat as Burger Mania rolls into Alicante for 11 days of gourmet food, live music and family entertainment. The free festival will transform the Plaza de Toros into a bustling street food venue, bringing together food trucks from across Spain alongside concerts, desserts and activities for all ages.

Gourmet burgers take centre stage

Burger lovers can look forward to 11 days of food, live entertainment and family fun when Burger Mania arrives at Alicante’s Plaza de Toros from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 16.

Entry is free, with more than 20 gourmet burgers on offer from food trucks travelling from across Spain, including Madrid, Valencia, Galicia, Asturias, Leon and Mallorca. Prices start from €12, with gluten-free options and children’s menus also available.

Aside from the tasty food, there is a competitive side to the event. Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favourite burger, with the most popular creations going through to the festival’s grand final later in the tour.

The festival opens on Thursday, August 6, with a free concert by Spanish entertainer Leticia Sabater, who takes to the stage at 10:30 PM. Live music will continue throughout the event, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors.

Food, music and family fun

Dessert lovers are also catered for, with stalls serving homemade cheesecakes, waffles and chocolate-covered strawberries.

Burger Mania has already proved popular at previous stops in Torrevieja, Villena, Tarragona, Palma de Mallorca and Vinaros, attracting thousands of visitors.

As well as gourmet burgers and sweet treats, visitors can enjoy a relaxed festival atmosphere with live entertainment throughout the event, making it an ideal evening out for families, groups of friends and food enthusiasts alike.

The tasty event runs from Wednesday to Monday between 8:00 PM and midnight and is closed on Tuesdays.
