Two new Costa del Sol photo spots have just arrived, and one is enormous

A good holiday photo brings back more than just a view. It brings a feeling, the sound of the sea, the warmth of the afternoon, the taste of different flavours. Now, the pretty towns of Manilva and Ojen, have given visitors 2 new beautiful reasons to stop and take an extra holiday snap.

Ojen unveils a giant wooden bench

At the viewpoint marking the entrance to Ojen, a new handcrafted wooden bench now towers over visitors. At 4 metres wide and 2.40 metres tall overall (1.30m to the seat). Complete with a small staircase for climbing up, it now joins the wider “Ruta de los Bancos Gigantes” (Giant Benches Route) that are dotted across the coast in a few towns, featuring Benalmadena, Manilva and Torremolinos.

The oversized scale is simply perfect for playful photos, children look tiny beside it and adults get a dramatic shot with the stunning qhite village and countryside behind them. More landscaping, including flowerbeds, is planned for the viewpoint in the coming weeks to enhace the backdrop even more.

Seaside photocall over in Manilva

Manilva now has a themed photo corner called “Donde el mar toca el cielo” which translates into “Where the sea touches the sky”. The marine-themed structure is built in a frame shape and decorated with bright colourful shells and flowers, giveing photographers a ready-made backdrop that perfectly captures the sea views and open sky.

Two new spots to sit and take in the beauty of this gorgeous province. One offers a coastal photo as you sit on the rocks, the other, a fun, larger-than-life shot above a whitewashed village. Together, they give travellers fresh stops to add to their itinerary and their instagram story.
