Elvis tribute brings a night of rock ‘n’ roll classics to Villamartin Plaza

Elvis fans can enjoy a night packed with rock ‘n’ roll classics when Simon Patrick brings his Elvis tribute show to Villamartin Plaza on Sunday, September 6.

The entertainment starts at 7:00 PM, with Yorkshire Monkey opening the evening before Simon Patrick takes over as the King.

With live entertainment continuing until approximately 11:30 PM, the event offers another chance to enjoy an evening of familiar music in the heart of Orihuela Costa.

Yorkshire Monkey gets the evening started

Yorkshire Monkey keeps things simple with one man and one guitar, but his repertoire is anything but small.

Expect songs covering classic rock, punk, Britpop, indie, reggae, country and swing, providing plenty of variety before the Elvis tribute begins.

His set draws on music from artists including Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Oasis, R.E.M., Arctic Monkeys, The Stone Roses and Johnny Cash.

With several decades and different musical styles represented, there should be plenty of familiar favourites to get the audience warmed up for the main show.

Simon Patrick brings Elvis to the Plaza

Simon Patrick will then turn Villamartin Plaza into a little slice of Graceland with his tribute to Elvis Presley.

Fans can expect music spanning Elvis’s career, from the early rock ‘n’ roll years through to the spectacular Las Vegas era.

With a back catalogue that includes classics such as All Shook Up, Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, Suspicious Minds, Burning Love and Can’t Help Falling in Love, there should be plenty to get Elvis fans singing along.

The show offers audiences the chance to revisit music from different stages of Elvis’s career and enjoy some of the songs that helped make him one of the biggest names in popular music.
