Lorca’s Feria de Día brings nearly 50 events to the historic centre this September

Lorca’s Feria de Día, or Day Fair, has kicked off and is in full swing, with the popular daytime festival transforming the city’s historic centre into a hub of music, culture and gastronomy. Running throughout September, this year’s edition has expanded its programme to nearly 50 activities and concerts, bringing life to the streets and encouraging visitors to explore the town both during the day and well into the evening.

A packed programme already underway in Lorca

The fair’s organisers have promised a packed schedule across plazas and pedestrian streets in the heart of Lorca: the programme includes live music performances from local artists and bands, DJ sets, traditional entertainment, and cultural showcases spread across iconic locations including the Plaza de España, Calle Álamo and surrounding plazas. A strong emphasis has been placed on showcasing local talent alongside emerging performers, helping to highlight the diversity of the Region of Murcia’s music scene.

Upcoming performers include Conecta2, Meraki, Reconversión, Black Night, Manteca Brothers, and more popular emerging and established performers, all ranging in genre to ensure there is something for everyone at the event.

Tapas routes to round out the programme

One of the central features of the Feria de Día is the “De tapas en la feria” initiative, with local bars and restaurants taking part across the city centre. The popular event allows visitors to enjoy special tapas offerings while moving between venues and performances.
