Lo Pagan to host fifth Salty Paradise event featuring Michelin-star chefs

Lo Pagan will host a special event at the beginning of October that will unite three Michelin-starred chefs on the shining coastline in a mouth-watering programme. The fifth edition of “Salty Paradise” will take place on October 2, 3, and 4, and is set to combine showcooking, haute cuisine tastings, workshops, and live entertainment in an event that will charm foodies and curious newcomers alike.

Michelin-star chefs headline autumn food festival in Lo Pagan

For years, the annual event has become an important part of Lo Pagan’s autumn calendar, and is the perfect opportunity for the town to showcase its traditional, local Mar Menor cuisine.

The main attraction of the event will be the incredible talent present: Michelin-starred chefs Juan Guillamón, Jesús Segura, and Juan Monteagudo will take centre stage at the showcase to demonstrate their remarkable cooking.

Tapas, tastings and live showcooking: Local flavours take the stage

Aside from the dazzling chefs, the event will also feature a large tapas area where various local and regional establishments will offer their delicious food to attendees. There, guests can sample offerings from beloved local spots including Helados La Tercia, Horno de Guardia, Cosafina Playa, Panadería José Antonio, La Cranka, El Rubio 360°, Bodegas Delampa, Restaurante Club Náutico Lo Pagán, La Barrica Gastrobar & Restaurante, Paco Rosa, and Pintxame.

Murcia’s local chefs will also have their spotlight, with a showcase dedicated only to talents from the region and the Costa Calida, where the chefs will present their cooking and perform live demonstrations.

Family activities and workshops for all ages

Finally, the little ones in attendance will also have their chance to shine with the Mini Gourmet Zone, an area dedicated to cooking workshops for children, guided tours of the salt flats, and family-friendly live performances.

With this fifth edition, Lo Pagan is once more showcasing its commitment not only to high-quality cuisine, but to the chefs who passionately create it and spend countless hours perfecting their craft.
