Trading fees can make a noticeable difference when buying and selling cryptocurrency, particularly for frequent investors. For investors in Turkey, however, comparing fees is not as simple as looking for the lowest percentage on an exchange’s website. Some platforms use maker and taker fees, others use a single volume-based rate, and withdrawal charges and spreads can increase the total cost beyond the headline figure.

This guide compares six crypto platforms available to Turkish investors and explains which type of investor each tends to suit.

Quick comparison: Entry-level fee structures

A comparison chart

No single platform is cheapest in every scenario. The right choice depends on how you trade.

Understanding maker/taker vs volume-based pricing

Most platforms use maker/taker pricing. A maker order adds liquidity by sitting on the order book and typically attracts a lower fee. A taker order executes immediately and usually costs more. Midas Kripto instead charges a single rate based on monthly volume, regardless of order type.

The practical difference is significant. On Paribu at the entry tier, a TRY 10,000 purchase costs TRY 12 as a maker order but TRY 28 as a taker order. On Midas Kripto, the same transaction costs TRY 15 either way. Which is cheaper depends entirely on how the order is placed.

Beyond trading commissions, also check TRY deposit and withdrawal costs, crypto withdrawal fees when moving assets to external wallets, and the spread on instant purchase interfaces, which may include a hidden cost not shown as a separate commission.

  1. Midas Kripto

Midas Kripto charges a single volume-based rate: 0.15% up to TRY 10 million monthly, 0.12% up to TRY 100 million, and 0.10% above that. For most retail investors, the applicable rate is 0.15%. At that rate, a TRY 10,000 transaction costs TRY 15 and a TRY 50,000 transaction costs TRY 75.

The main advantage is simplicity. Users do not need to manage order types to understand what they will pay. Midas also provides access to more than 300 crypto assets, flexible staking, and connects to the wider Midas investment ecosystem covering stocks and funds alongside the crypto account.

Best for: Investors who value predictable pricing and straightforward TRY access.

  1. Bybit TR

Standard VIP 0 spot trading currently sits at 0.10% for both maker and taker orders. Higher VIP levels reduce rates further for frequent traders. Note that Bybit TR operates separately from the international Bybit platform, and fees for fiat-crypto pairs may differ from crypto-to-crypto pairs.

Best for: Users comfortable with traditional order-book interfaces.

  1. OKX TR

Regular tier TRY pairs: 0.10% maker, 0.22% taker. Crypto pairs: 0.08% maker, 0.10% taker. The gap between maker and taker rates on TRY pairs is significant. On a TRY 10,000 transaction, a limit order costs TRY 10 while a market order costs TRY 22. Describing OKX TR as having a flat 0.10% fee would be misleading for most retail users.

Best for: Active traders who understand limit orders and manage their order placement deliberately.

  1. Paribu

Eight-level structure based on 30-day volume. Entry level: 0.12% maker, 0.28% taker, with rates declining as volume increases. An important detail for new users: transactions through Paribu’s easy trading interface and all market orders are treated as taker transactions. A beginner may see the 0.12% maker rate in a comparison but actually pay 0.28% on every purchase.

Best for: Users who actively place limit orders on a locally focused platform.

  1. BtcTurk

Fees depend on 30-day trading volume and order type, with rates declining at higher volume tiers. The structure generally benefits higher-volume traders. Occasional investors should check the entry-level rate applicable to their account directly on the platform.

Best for: Established local crypto users familiar with the platform.

  1. Binance TR

Tiered commission structure based on trading activity, with separate rates for TRY and crypto pairs. Where Binance TR stands out on costs is fiat transfers: TRY deposits, TRY withdrawals, and crypto transfers between Binance.com and Binance TR are currently free. External crypto withdrawals carry standard network charges.

Best for: Users who want a large TRY-focused trading ecosystem with broad asset coverage.

Which platform has the lowest fees?

For investors placing deliberate limit orders, OKX TR and Paribu currently offer lower maker rates than Midas Kripto’s standard 0.15%. For investors using market orders or instant-buy interfaces, Midas Kripto’s single rate is often more competitive than taker-rate pricing on maker/taker exchanges. High-volume traders benefit from tier reductions across all six platforms.

Always compare the fee that applies to your actual trading behaviour, not the lowest rate theoretically available. Factor in TRY transfer costs, crypto withdrawal fees, and any spread included in instant purchase pricing before making a final decision
