Choosing a school is a big decision: come and see ours for yourself

Lady Elizabeth School opens its doors on 22nd October for families to meet the teachers, explore the spaces and experience learning first-hand.
Choosing a school is rarely a simple decision. There are websites to read, prospectuses to download, questions to ask and plenty of things to compare. But sometimes, the best way to understand a school is much simpler: come in and see it for yourself.
On Thursday 22 October 2026 at 10:00am, Lady Elizabeth School will welcome prospective families to its campus in Benitachell for its annual Open Day. Rather than simply telling families what we do, we invite them to walk through the school, see lessons in progress and meet the teachers who work with our students every day.
Come in, look around and ask the questions that matter
For parents, choosing a school is about much more than curriculum and results. It is about finding the right environment for your child. Will they feel comfortable here? Will their teachers know them well? How will they be supported? Will they be challenged and encouraged as they grow?
Our Open Day is designed to give families the opportunity to ask those questions directly. Visitors will meet members of our academic and leadership teams, explore the campus, walk through lessons and learning spaces, and see how students learn and interact throughout the school day.
“A school visit tells you things that a website simply can’t. You can see how teachers and students interact, hear the conversations happening in classrooms and get a feeling for whether the environment is right for your child,” says Isabel Calatayud, Head of Admissions at Lady Elizabeth School.
One school, from age 2 to 18
One of the things that makes LES different is the opportunity for students to grow within one international school community from the age of 2 through to 18.
That continuity matters to families. Children can develop within a familiar environment while their learning, independence and responsibilities evolve at each stage.
At the same time, the school’s international outlook opens doors well beyond the local community, with recent graduates progressing to universities across Spain, the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. For parents visiting the school, this means they can look beyond the immediate question of “Where will my child start school?” and see where that journey can lead.
See the school as your child would
A school can look very different on a website than it does when you are standing in a classroom. During the Open Day, families will be able to see learning happening around them: teachers working with students, conversations taking place, children moving between activities and the everyday moments that make up school life.
Age-specific visits with our Early Years, Primary and Secondary teams will give families the opportunity to understand what learning looks like at their child’s particular stage, meet the teachers and ask questions that are relevant to their family.
For students who are considering joining LES, it is also an opportunity to get a sense of the school for themselves. Walk the corridors. Look inside the classrooms. Meet the teachers. Ask questions. Imagine yourself here.
